Visiting The Museum

 The Museum and Exhibitions are open all year round for booked visits, either individually or in groups, large or small. 

Simply telephone 0780 3504794, for a guided experience or use the convenient  booking form on this site. Refreshments are available.
We can also provide outside presentations to your organisations.


Our visitor centre is open for walk in visits  every Sunday, from 6th April to 7th December 2025, 11: 00 am to 3:00 pm. Entrance is free, but as a Registered Charity we do welcome donations including Gift Aid.


Large print guides are available and explanations can be sought from Reception Volunteers. Access  is easy for all visitors with a unisex restroom available.

The Centre has an Ambulatory Car Park area immediately adjacent to the Centre entrance. The Visitor area is on one level and there is a ramp available if access over the entrance door is difficult and you require further assistance. 


The nearest public car parking is at Heron/Boyes(access via Fleetgate), two hours stay only. Pedestrians should cross Holydyke with care to access the Centre.
